Super Silhouette.. MX6?

Familiar with this monster?
Nice huh? Super Silhoutte R30 Skyline. I gotta say i prefer R30s more than the later generations of Skyline. There's something about the angled body design that really gets to me.

What do you do when you want a ride like that so bad but just don't have enough dough for R30s? You could get an MX6..
and turn it into this..
LOL got some time on my hands and decided to waste it on realizing an idea that has been floating in my head for some time. I am just imagining what my next project would be if i have the money and seeing this result, i gotta say it would make a very nice project. Sad that MX6s are FWD..

My Current Wallpaper

Yet another photoshop n00bness from me.. Edited one of the photos i have in my folder and came up with this. Added Work Equip 03, Bride Ergo seats and Japanese license plate. I am currently using this as my laptop wallpaper. For now i only have it on 1280x800, my screen resolution. If you want other size, just tell me in the comments and i'll update this post.

I Suck at Photoshop

I found this funny Photoshop tutorial when i was procrastinating as usual on Digg.com. It's a web video series called You Suck at Photoshop and its hosted by a cool dude named Donnie Hoyle. On the series, he's supposed to be a total loser who lost his wife to a guy named Ricky and ... well i won't spoil the fun for you. Just go ahead and look it up on Youtube. If you're learning Photoshop and don't mind being tutored by a foul-mouthed guy, You Suck at Photoshop will boost your skills in no time.

Anyway, i've finished watching all of the tutorials and decided to have some fun with the skills i just learned. I photoshopped some of The Dog's photos and here's some of the results. Don't laugh okay cause i know they're still very rough and amateurish but i think they're good enough for a guy who just learned how to use the heaven-sent application.

First, I have always been curious how my Axis Oldskool would look on The Dog. Well now i know and i also add a little extra of lowering to it.
and here's how my Globeline rims would look.
This photo was taken a few days ago when The Dog just finished its bodywork. I did some mods to it which you'll see later down.
How about replacing the hood with carbon fibers?
Or since i am going to imitate Ryoji Takada's ride, how about applying some D1GP decals?
I still have a lot to learn obviously but with work slightly slowing down, i have some time on my hands and would love to spend it on sharpening up my PS skills. Do share in the comments if you have more links to good PS tutorial.

Shopped Charmants by Dereck Sealey

My kind friend Dereck done me a big favor by helping me alter few Charmant pics. I believe this is Yohann's Charmer.. So big thanks to both you guys.. Now you have more options besides this and this.
Me and Dereck like the blue one. Guess we both just like blue so much.
Next Dereck add black bonnets.. The white one looks just like Stanley's!Last is what Dereck called an AE86-style paint.
That last one was my request for Dereck based on an R31 Skyline picture i found on the net. Forgot where i got it so if you own it and having problems with me putting it below, do tell me. I was curious if the same paint work on a Charmant would look as good as it is on the Skyline. Honestly, thanks to Dereck i can now say, it does not! LOL..
If you ask me, R31 is the best looking Skyline, well besides the Ken & Marry, that is. I really like the classic box style body. *sigh* i can only dream of owning a Skyline one day.. For now, it's just me and The Dog, i guess!

United Colors of Charmant

Since i have not yet decided on what paint color i want on The Dog, i tried my best to gather as many pics of Charmant in various colors as possible to help me decide. These are what i managed to gather so far. Can you help me decide?

Black, my original color and also Ryoji Takada's

Champagne Gold or Poo Gold or whatever Gold

Bright Blue

Errmm.. Light Blue?

Deep Blue? Gimme a break.. I don't work in Spies Hecker factory..

Maroon Red

This, i like to call it Blood Red

Purplish Red

Gray or Silver, never able to tell the difference..

Goblin

Yohann White.. Hehe.. Hi there Yohann!

Last comes what i like to call WTF color..

Black looks very interesting now.. I don't have to report any color change to the Department of Transportation and who knows, one day i'll get a hold on a set of 15 inch Work Equip 03s and Voila! ... another Ryoji Takada's Charmant replica..

Mock Ups on Paint Color

One thread in modifikasi.com is about showing off your photoshop car modification. I got help from a few kind dudes over there on mockups of some paint jobs. You see, i need to decide on paint color soon since my car is almost finished and due to my bad imagination, i need some mockups to help me decide. Here are some them. I took the original picture from somewhere over the net but i forgot where..
One of them is my work. Can you guess which one? Clue: i don't know sh*t about photoshop.. So which one do you prefer? I prefer number 6 or 7 but considering a deep metallic gray instead of just gray.

Notice that some of them are converted into two-doors? It's not too late for me to go that way. Hmmm..

One thing for sure, ALL OF THEM got nice rims..
